ACSA to be partner in modernisation of Mumbai Airport
Hi there, ACSA (Airport Company of South Africa) has teamed up with an Indian consortium to modernise Mumbai Int. Airport in India. They are ready to modernise, operate, develop and manage Mumbai International Airport to achieve world-class standards. ACSA will hold a 10% stake in the group, with the other partners being the Indian government (26%), the Indian infrastructure company GVK (37%) and the South African Bidvest (27%). It seems as if ACSA is heading for more as they are still trying to get the same thing for Dehli. They also said that they want to further invest in other airports mainly in Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. Cheers, Felix

God only knows how badly indian aviation infrastructure needs to be improved.I am glad it is being done by people who know it. Lots of potential indian govt approved another 25 airports for moderization and expansion. Navi
