Fastest growing in terms of pax, aircraft movements etc? I'm sure JNB must head the list - I'd also imagine NBO and CPT are there as well.

That is a quite interesting statistic. Would not have thought that there are so many airports in Egypt with such a tremendus growth...

In terms of position the big mover has been Monastir which has moved from 9th to 5th. Hurgada dropped from 5th to 7th and Nairobi from 6th to 8th. Durban overtook Algiers to get to 11th. Port Elizabeth, Mombasa and Port Harcourt went up 2 positions each. SA airport figures peak in December though so the year end figures could juggle things around some more.

Stats are issued by Airports Council. Most stats are not made public though. I've listed the world's top 100 in the Airports forum of skyscrapercity.com as well as SA airports in the South African forum.
