BANTUAIR Launches on African Aviation Forum
Hi All, Allow me to greet you all. I am new to this forum and like the rest of you'all have a keen interest in aviation, particulalry commercial. My favourite airline is Virgin Atlantic for it class and its challenge to BA when everyone though it impossible. I also love the story of GO. My favourite livery is KQ for its professional as well as African look. African airline rock, although I feel that we should stop copying European airlines and have more African fun and loud livery. SAA was a bit too loud and kulula is a bit too green. We definately could do better there. My favourite plane is the BAE146 for its speed, economy and because it is the only plane ever to land me at Lusaka International Airport from the \"wrong\" direction. For those of you who have never landed at LK you first fly over the airport, make a right U-turn for the landing. The 146 is the only plane I have ever known to just land without making the fly past. I also believe that in the growing African market, the 146 and the ATRs make business sense for regional and domestic services. What do you all think: if Peugeot was the car for Africa, what is the plane for African short haul business?
