Cessna caravan type ratings in SA
Hi all Im south african living in UK at moment working my way through JAR ATPL exams towards CPL wich I hope onca all passed and done will be able to come home and work easy jet and ryan air just not my thing more a biltong and beer beer bloke!! Does anyone know of somewhere that offers type ratings on the caravan / king air?? Any help most appreciated Cheers

My suggestion would be to give NAC or Executive Turbine a ring (more info via there websites I'm sure - both a big companies so you'll have no prob finding them). Good to hear of a Saffa pilot coming home - I know too many guys who are high-tailing it to the UK in search of work at Ryanair and EZY.

Hi There Thanks for info will check out nac they have base in virginia and I am from margate would prob be easier but if must go jo burg God knows why sa guys comming over here ryan air have pretty lousy reputation and pay for FO's aint that great I know it does increase with time but the job itself glorified bus drivers ........... nah not for me anyway need pass ATPL writtens first before think about comming home!!! cheers
