G0 Expanding Ghana International (G0) is reportedly planning an increase in service to London from the current daily to 9x per week. This will be facilitated with the expected signing of a lease for a second B752 which will also enable the airline to operate to Johannesburg and Monrovia, along with Abuja.

That is great news! Hope they can continue their current success.
Interesting that they don't plan any domestic and only very few regional flights...
Cheers,

G0 operated into JNB for the 1st time yesterday. Flights experienced minor delays (+- 20 mins) but otherwise things went without a hitch.
I can't believe this TG, G0, B3 all start flying to JNB the week I have to stay at home to study...   I'll get some pics ASAP, Thursday next week is my last exam!

I have always asked myself the same question. I don't see them having much of a success with domestic flights (Antrak & Citylink have that pretty much covered) and I doubt whether the other domestic airports can accomodate the 752s. To launch domestic services, they may need to invest in turboprops.
What baffles me is G0's apparent delay to launch regional flights (except for Abuja which was recently started). In my opinion, this is where they will make most of their money. It could be due to shortage of aircraft but whatever the reason, they need to launch their west coast services asap. These were a cash cow for the defunct Ghana Airways.

Best of luck buddy, and looking forward to your pics.

Has this flight taken off? Last I understood they didn't receive permission from Nigerian authorities. It doesn't appear in their online booking tool either. However they will start flights soon to Lagos, by codesharing with Aerocontractors.

Will service to ACC-LGW route. Nice!

Nice bird. At least some growth, alebit belatedly, is beginning to show at G0. This should free up the 757 which I hope they will use to get back into West Coast operations.

The 763 has been delivered and has started service. During a press briefing ceremony, the following key issues were of note:
The 763 has been configured for 248 pax will be used to operate the ACC-LGW-ACC flights. G0 hopes to benefit from the increased passenger and cargo capacity as it is fast becoming a preferred carrier on the Accra London Route.
The 752 which operated the LGW flights will now be used to operate the recently launched ACC-JNB-ACC runs.
The lease deal is for an initial period of 12 months with an option to renew for a further 18 months. The lessors will deliver flight crew while G0 will provide cabin crew.
Journalists asked why G0 could not purchase their own planes instead of leasing and the response given was that G0 was not certified to operate their own aircraft and shall keep leasing planes until they are appropriately certified.
Cheers,
