You have absolutely less than norhing to worry about, even standing outside the airport on the threshold of the runways wouldn't be a problem. The South African media (and hence the rest of the world's media) does tend to blow the crime situation here out of proportion. Enjoy your trip!! Sean

Thanks Sean, I'm not sure I put my question very well Sorry - I did misunderstand you... The cops only give you grief if you photgraph the actual inside of the airport I believe (it's still possible - just don't do it too obviously). Generally they leave you alone if you don't do stupid things. The guys from Hamburg-RettopS have just been out to RSA (5x Photographers armed with massive camera's and camera bags) and weren't hassled once I believe. Sean
