KQ Leases One Additional 767-300 Kenya Airways has added an additional Boeing 767–300 aircraft to its fleet.
The aircraft, acquired on lease, will enable Kenya Airways expand passenger and cargo capacity, especially on the West African route.
"The Boeing 767–300 has more passenger and cargo capacity, which will enable us Boeing to service rapidly growing routes linking West, East and Central Africa to Dubai, Guangzhou, Thailand and Mumbai" said the airline’s commercial director, Hugh Fraser.
He said the aircraft would ease pressure on high traffic routes at a time when tourism is at its peak.Source: East African Standard
This is good news, especially in the West African runs where additional pax & cargo capacity was required.
