KQ to Dzaoudzi (Mayotte) and Moroni (Comoros)
Subject says it all, according to an article in the East African Standard: (and indeed schedules are loaded in KLM's timetable): Kenya Airways will launch flights to the Indian Ocean islands of Mayotte and Comoros in November. Commercial Director, Mr Hugh Fraser, said the launch was part of the airline's plans to transform Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as a hub for the islands. "We will use the same aircraft to fly to the two islands," said Fraser. He made the announcement during a function where KQ hosted a luncheon for the French Business Club, ahead of the inaugural KQ flight to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport October 26. Fraser said the direct flight would enhance links between France and the East Africa, a move that is expected to spur business.

I think this air corridor will really bring a lot of money to KQ as there are a lot of Comoroeans in France. I just would like to remind that the Algerian air carrier used to fly via JNB to MORONI in order to connect people from France. On the one other hand, at the moment Yemenia benefits a lot from this market and serves Paris and Marseilles two French cities where there are a lot of Comoreans in order to link Moroni...they found a good niche which works all year long believe me!
