Nigerian airlines' new websites Came around some apparantly new websites of Nigerian airlines:
IRS Airlines
www.irs-airlines.com
Kabo Air
www.kaboair.com
Afrijet
www.afrijet.net
Now afrijet already had a website (www.afrijet.com), but this seems to be where you can book your flights. Now they only need to get of the ground first....
For the other airlines it are their first websites, a good step forward to a bit more professionalism!

Arik Air is also close to finalizing its site (booking applet contracted to a Ghanaian company)
http://www.arikair.com
Aero updated its website, now as sleek as ever, with online booking and now accepting 2 credit cards.
http://www.flyaero.com
Virgin Nigeria website continues to be a disgrace, with poor graphics and no substance whatsoever besides the functional aspect of booking. Their site is truly unworthy of the Virgin brand.

Just had a look at the Arik Air website. They really need a lot of people still. Just check how many managers of all kinds they need. One would have thought they had provided for that already...
Cheers,
Felix

Agreed!! With all those vacancies, they do not appear ready to get off the ground just yet.
Cheers,
Walter.

But they are taking off now. According to their press releases, their CRJ-900 is due today in Lagos. Flights will start between LOS and ABV on October 17. Flights to Kano, Enugu, Benin City and Calabar will start in the weeks thereafter.
This is really good news. One year ago, right after the bellview crash, my only option in Kano was IRS Airlines. Now I can choose from Virgin, Bellview, Arik and IRS!

It is good news that they are taking off and that you have a choice of carriers. I am sure that they will sort their teething problems and offer efficient and reliable services (at least based on their fleet choice and age). I wish them well.
Cheers,
Walter.
