Just for those that don't want to read the a.net post:
TAAG is going to order three Boeing 777 (maybe used 777-200ERs) and six 737 (maybe 737-700s). The airline curretnly operates two 747-300 and five 737-200.
Financing is said to be difficult, but the State of Angola will take over. The aircraft are supposed to arrive in 2008.
Good to see that also TAAG is having future plans...
Cheers,
Felix

Sorry for just sending in the link - it was late and I was too lazy to extract the info from post. Lets hope they keep their current livery for these new birds - will look stunning.

Outstanding news for African Aviation in general and for Angola specifically. Good to see another African carrier on its way up.

At all, it's time for TAAG to do something...

Here it is - TAAG's first new B777-200ER. Looking forward to seeing the B73G's as well!
Well done TAAG!!

Thats one good looking bird!! 772ER & 73G is a wonderful fleet combination. They will see enormous savings in operating expenses over their current fleet. With Angola's recent stable economy, i think we shall be seeing a lot of TAAG in future.
Cheers,
Walter.

Sorry that you can not see the word. It is strabbed (replace the "b"s with "p"s). This is due to the word cencor, with which I try to reduce the attacks by spam accounts.
