Zimbabwe demolitions
What are your opinions on the demolitions of homes and businesses in Zimbabwe? I think it needs to stop or international intervention is needed. It is unfair and unjust. An article - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/4620977.stm

Mugabe and the government of Zimbabwe are becoming more and more stupid. Okay, new housing is good and necessary, but I should built up houses first and then crush homes of the poor! But what can we do? Nearly nothing. The AU (an orgaisation which has not yet proven the status it believes to have) is absolutly not willing to do anything. They are "more busy" with other projects! With what? They do nothing against Zimbabwe, nothing in Sudan, so what are they busy with?? Felix

The AU is a bit of a farce if you ask me. I think they busy themselves with important seminars to decide where to build their no doubt overly elaborate parliment while millions face starvation and death at the hands of crazed militia or power hungry presidents..... The carnage in Zim will take 30+ years to come right, such a shame as 10 years ago Zimbabwe was probably THE BEST country in Africa. Quiet diplomacy has failed the people of Sudan and Zim - it's time to get tough!! Just my 2c worth :D Sean
